Since mid September I’ve been shooting Jagermeister’s Full House events every Thursday at Aces ‘n’ Spades. It’s a super cool venue with nice decor and vibe and there have been some great acts so far – here are some of my favourite shots from the last 2 months.
It’s that time of year again – Halloween, time for dressing up, taking to the streets and scaring kids. Even though I’m a zombie myself at the moment (this year’s flu is a really nasty one) I couldn’t stay in bed on Saturday – so, for the third year in a row I attended the Cape Town Zombie Walk (actually a charity event held in aid of the Lucky Lucy Foundation) and, as usual, had loads of fun.
It’s been my mission this year to fix up our family’s long-neglected garden, and this month I focused on the overgrown weed field that was our back garden…here are some before, after and process pics (and yes, the cats feature quite a bit too – this is a full-on old lady post…)
Rocking the Daisies managed to expand from its colossal 17,000-odd crowd last year to around 20,000 this past weekend. The weather was great and, as usual, there was plenty to see and do.
I may have gone for just one day (well, one and a half if you count the long wait in the queue to leave the fest on Sunday) but believe me when I say that one day was enough to leave my senses saturated and my body broken once I returned home.

A while back I did a photoshoot with a new Capetonian band, at the time they were unnamed but are now officially The Taros. Their first single ‘Call off the search’ is available for free download from their website and well worth a listen. Here are a few pics from our shoot.
