The first in a very special series of concerts ‘after dark’ at the Aquarium took place at the end of June and it was a beautiful night.
British downtempo legends Morcheeba performed a once-off South African show in the always beautiful Kirstenbosch gardens in Cape Town, supported by local act Valve State. It was an unexpectedly cold night (a fact even noted and mentioned by Morcheeba’s frontwoman Skye Edwards during the show) but once the massive crowd was all standing and dancing – which didn’t take long – things heated up quite nicely.
A truly lovely show both musically and visually; here are some shots from the night.
