Stockholm & Gamla Stan

My seventh day in Sweden was super chilled: I spent the morning walking around central Stockholm before meeting up with my cousins for lunch and later exploring more of Gamla Stan.

I’d barely gone 5 minutes from the hostel before I had to head back for a thicker jacket – it was pretty cold outside.

My cousin Brynn and his fiancé Annabella had recently moved to Stockholm and it was great to see them and catch up. After lunch Brynn had to go back to work and Annabella and I took a walk around the shops in the central area and then the pretty cobble streets of Gamla Stan.

It was probably because of the season and time of day but I was so surprised by how empty parts of the city were.

I loved the birds and constantly tried to photograph the crows and magpies

Later that night I went back outside for some long exposures, but with the tripod this time (unlike the night before). I didn’t find all the same places I had the night before but discovered some new ones which was cool. Again, it was super quiet walking around.
