Right, this is the last of my Synergy posts – in between shooting stills and dancing, I shot a bit of video footage of a few of the bands too. Here’s the resulting feel-good montage:

All good things come to an end, so it was on the third and final day of Synergy Live 2011. Like most people, we packed up early and then hung around to watch a few more bands before making the trek back home.
An early thought waking up on Saturday morning was ‘thank God for sunglasses’. We emerged slowly from our tents to access the damage from the previous night – Jess’ near-empty bottle of tequila was still outside (she’d hoped someone would’ve stolen it) Geoff had to be rescued from his tent, I had a huge bruise on my knee and somewhere nearby someone was playing an acoustic guitar and tunelessly freestyling an ode to the night before. Synergy Day 2 was underway.
Synergy Live 2011 – wow, definitely a highlight of the year. Three days full of fun fuelled by booze, adrenaline and awesome music; the experience has left my body broken and my mind racing. I want to do it all again. Right now…but I can’t, so I’ll have to settle for the next best option: reliving my festival experience day by day.
