I’m not very involved in the metal scene so hadn’t heard of the MAX Campaign until recently – a great local initiative, Metalheads Against Xenophobia raised over R9000 last weekend alone when they hosted a huge all ages gig at ROAR featuring, among others, Beedelstorm, Ill System and ohgod. It was also a farewell, as it was SuiderbeeS’ final show.

Like I said I don’t attend a lot of metal gigs, but when I do I always have a great time…
