Last Saturday, the eco-warriors at GreenPop hosted their latest Cool as Folk party to raise funds as well as celebrate the planting of 50,000 trees – no mean feat. The last time I attended a CAF party was way back in 2011 – this time round the event had really grown exponentially.
Here are some shots from the night.
Sideshow is a massive venue, and it got ridiculously packed thanks to the lineup including GreenPop founding member Jeremy Loops (now with the backing of a full band, pretty much), Grassy Spark, Paige Mac, Toya Delazy and Early Hours.
Plus, there was a second and more chilled stage upstairs whose performers included live acts Wild Lettuce and Italian duo LegoLoop as well as DJs Lemonella and Dear Mrs Panda (a portion of whose set was broadcast silently through some black magic as part of the ‘Houdt silent disco’).
