I love Kirstenbosch, it’s a really beautiful place, but sadly I don’t visit that often…but free entrance is a great incentive – this is a combined post of my last 2 visits: World Biodiversity Day on May 22nd and the garden’s 100th birthday on July 1st.

Party Town: Make-Overs, The Future Primitives, The Dollfins & Black Lung at Carnival Court

There had been warnings all week that a huge storm was to hit Cape Town on the first weekend of June, and the warnings had been right.
