From the archives: June/July 2005-2011

June/July 2005 – 2010

I’ve been taking photos for ages and really got interested in photography when I was around 14/15. One of the things I love about the whole digital age is that you can take as many photos as you like without worrying about film and development costs; in my mind this means ‘take photos of everything, all the time’, so that’s what I did for a long time and now I have hardrives full of forgotten pictures…

It seemed like a nice idea to go through them and re-look some of the more interesting ones, so here’s the first lot from the archives, from this time 6 years ago up till now…

2005: shooting with a Canon Powershot A95 – the most wonderful compact I’ve ever used…my dad also bought a second-hand Canon film camera round this time an I took a few shots on it too.

Friday 17 June 2011

A while ago I came across Coal and really liked the two tracks of theirs that are online. Friday 03 June 2011

I was at school with the guys in Beatenberg, so it’s pretty criminal that I hadn’t gone to see them play before last Friday. They were main reason I went to We Are Beautiful Losers, but the fact that Bateleur and Jeremy Loops were also playing was a really nice bonus.
