Rocking the Daisies managed to expand from its colossal 17,000-odd crowd last year to around 20,000 this past weekend. The weather was great and, as usual, there was plenty to see and do.
I may have gone for just one day (well, one and a half if you count the long wait in the queue to leave the fest on Sunday) but believe me when I say that one day was enough to leave my senses saturated and my body broken once I returned home.

A while back I did a photoshoot with a new Capetonian band, at the time they were unnamed but are now officially The Taros. Their first single ‘Call off the search’ is available for free download from their website and well worth a listen. Here are a few pics from our shoot.
For the last few months I’ve been working on an animated music video for American electronic artist Self.Same; it’s been a long but enjoyable process and I’m excited to finally share the finished result.

I’ve been quiet lately but spring is officially here (well, maybe not technically but today was a full-on summer day which is proof enough for me) and winter’s hibernation effect is wearing off.
The new month brings with it a new issue of Canon’s online Click Magazine, and I’m honoured and excited to be included in it.

When I saw the announcement that Editors were playing this year’s Oppikoppi I was beyond excited and hoping and praying they’d be playing at One Night In Cape Town…and they did, and they were incredible and I went full-fangirl.
…Wolfmother, Shadowclub and Tatran played too.
