What better way to ease into the Christmas weekend than unwinding at the Grand Daddy Hotel with the bluesy sounds of Long Time Citizen?
It was a quiet and really laid-back affair, the fairy lights in the ceiling and on a small Christmas tree adding a tasteful amount of festive cheer. I hadn’t seen Long Time Citizen before, but remember Three Bored/More White Guys, some kind of previous incarnations of theirs, from back in the day.
I liked them a lot, plus they kept the Grand Daddy’s record intact in terms of picking perfect bands for the vibe of the venue. Lovely evening break from the festive rush.
