British electro-soul outfit Jungle’s Kirstenbosch show has been hotly anticipated by Cape Town for the last few months, and it didn’t disappoint. Even though it rained (like, a lot) during the end of opening act Goodluck’s set, there was energy and enthusiasm all round and no-one seemed too put out by the deluge.
Goodluck were slick and did a good job of warming up the crowd on the chilly Friday night and, although the rain delayed their starting time slightly, Jungle were very slick and put on a great show. I’m not a massive fan and wasn’t planning on staying till the end but ended up doing just that – very enjoyable show.
