the premier of their new music video <em>Stole the moon<\/em> at the Assembly last Saturday, and were joined on stage by the ever-entertaining Great Apes.<\/p>\n<p><a way<\/a>.\u00a0 They&#8217;re really growing on me more <a title=\"Hold Fast: The Great Apes, Them Tornados &amp; Wolftown at the Harley-Davidson Club\" href=\"http:\/\/lauramccullagh.com\/blog\/2012\/02\/hold-fast-the-great-apes-them-tornados-wolf-town-at-the-harley-davison-club\/\" target=\"_blank\">each time I see them<\/a>, so much so that this time round I found myself loudly singing along to <a title=\"great track...\" href=\"http:\/\/soundcloud.com\/the-great-apes\/01-human-machine-wild-animal\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Human Machine Wild title=\"Lark - Stole the moon\" href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/37296117\" target=\"_blank\">Lark&#8217;s music video<\/a> was projected (I know I struggled a bit from the angle I was at). There was a little playback hickup in the beginning, but after that the crowd stood transfixed by the black and white form of Inge Beckmann, which occupied the screen for the next 3 and a half minutes.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"we are awesome\" href=\"http:\/\/we-are-awesome.com\/blog\/2012\/02\/lark-video\/\" target=\"_blank\">You can read more details about the video over here<\/a>, as well as check out some framegrabs. I liked it (especially the underground scenes &#8211; awesome location) but always feel a bit bad for the rest of the band when a video&#8217;s all about the singer&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>But it&#8217;s easy to understand why the video&#8217;s all about Inge Beckmann &#8211; she&#8217;s a force, totally hypnotic on stage with an incredible voice and a spinechilling fireceness in her eyes.
