Carnac to Rennes via\u00a0Rochefort-en-Terre<\/i><\/b><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Our last day of driving took us from Carnac to Rennes via (accidentally) ‘France’s favourite village’ – an actual award it received in 2016 – Rochefort-en-terre, as well as pretty riverside town and some menhirs in St. Just.<\/p>\n

Looking at the map while planning our trip I hadn’t really found anywhere of particular interest between Carnac and Rennes. But while we were driving we saw a sign for\u00a0 one of the ‘Petites cit\u00e9s de caract\u00e8re’ and we knew from experience those were always worth a stop. So we popped into Rochefort-en-terre.<\/p>\n

…I was not prepared how beautiful this town would be. Also it had a rating of like 3 or 5 (or whatever the max number is) of flowers – also a helpful guide along our travels – and literally had flowers everywhere. It was a ridiculously beautiful place, truly. Why I hadn’t come across it in my planning I’ll never know.<\/p>\n
