I was pleasantly surprised by Saintfearless the last time I saw them (opening for Isochronous<\/a>) and was keen to see them again. Since they’re about to swap the stage for the studio for a while and their show at the Purple Turtle was to be their last for a while, I decided I couldn’t miss it. Also on the roster were Box Office and Woodstock Mafia, neither of whom I had seen before.<\/p>\n

Like a lot of people, I have some dingy memories of the Purple Turtle from back in the day, and only recently found out that they’ve undergone a bit of a revamp. I’m glad, because it really is a cool little place…<\/p>\n

Woodstock Mafia were first up. I’d heard 2 tracks of theirs online and thought they were pretty cool, and was surprised to learn that it was only their second gig together as a band. I really enjoyed their set, cool tracks and lots of energy, and a little screamy every now and then (in a good way).<\/p>\n\n\t\t
