Pangolins have been\u00a0among my favourite animals for many years so it’s always surprising to me how\u00a0many people don’t know about them. Aside from being really adorable and peaceful creatures\u00a0they are also one of\u00a0the world’s most poached and illegally traded animals\u00a0and all\u00a0of the eight\u00a0species are critically endangered and facing extinction as a result.<\/p>\n

Awareness is growing as are conservation attempts but the demand for their scales, skin and meat is unlikely to go away without a fight.<\/p>\n
